Why did you decide to join the FST position with Sysmex?
I was hired with a Service Engineer position warranted in Nebraska. Sysmex offered me the great opportunity to be part of the FST program. I had no field service experience prior to this job. FST training and mentoring program helped me obtain hands on experience in the field with well experienced Service Engineers.
What makes the FST program unique?
When I think about the FST program I realized it was the best scholarship ever granted to me. During my college education I had to work part time to meet my personal and college expenses. But the FST program pays all your expenses while in training and pays you a salary.
Tell us about the type of person it takes to be successful in the FST program.
Attention to detail, Mechanical and technical skills, ability to independently follow procedure and schematics, time and budget management, and great customer skills.
What has been the most amazing experience or day you’ve had as an FST or a Service Engineer?
To me every day is a good day with Sysmex. I am lucky to have my dream job. I know I will retire someday with Sysmex, but not anytime soon.

Sysmex takes great care of their employees and we (employees) have all the tools necessary to represent our company and take good care of our customers.
What do our customers say about Sysmex? What do you hear in the marketplace?
We have a great hematology system and Field Service quality is great.
Tell us about the Sysmex products and what make them top-notch?
Customers appreciate that our instruments have a low or none down time with our analyzers. Our hematology analyzers have great precision and accuracy. False flags are minimal and positive flags are properly validated.
